Vacasa Leave of Absence (LOA) Website
Creator + Web Producer + UX Strategy + Writer + Project Manager
Leave policies are complex. Governed by company policy, state, and federal legislation, the typical leave policy manuals are difficult for employees to understand, especially for employees who are likely going through a challenging time in their lives. Vacasa wanted a Leave of Absence (LOA) Guide that their employees could understand easily and find the information they needed quickly.
One approach to this is to create an LOA guide in a traditional PDF format, but there was more leave content than PDF real estate. To solve for this, I invented and produced our team's first Leave of Absence (LOA) website, resulting in a scalable, high-demand LOA website template.
I led this innovative digital solution from concept, information architecture, navigation, content writing, user experience (UX), and partnering with Vacasa’s Employee Benefits team and Leave specialist. I collaborated with the graphic designer to create this intuitive, user-focused, website based on Vacasa’s brand identity for a seamless communications experience across the company assets.
