  • “I had the pleasure of working with Autumn for several years within the employee benefits space. Our team was charged with providing custom communications solutions for a variety of clients with varying needs. We identified several emerging challenges that our clients were facing, and Autumn was instrumental in developing new solutions. In particular, she was a primary contributor to our web user experience and ongoing site maintenance. She led mid-year site reviews and document management which was an integral function for maintaining accuracy of the benefits program details. What I found most special was her contributions to our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging-based programs. Autumn led the charge on our Inclusivity Guides which were created to explore a client's benefits program through the lens of a employee population that historically faced unique challenges when seeking care. She also was our lead writer for our Leave of Absence guides which were our most challenging (and most eye-catching) solution since they were a mix of our established benefits knowledge and client-specific policy. Autumn played a unique role in the development of our communications practice as we more than tripled our revenue over the years that we worked together. Thank you Autumn!!!”

  • “Poised, engaging, and highly professional, Autumn Sharp brought tremendous improvements to Tucson Audubon’s Development and Communications work during her time with us. She holds a winning combination of strong communications, writing, and editing skills, together with an unflaggingly positive outlook and delightful knack for relationship building...Autumn’s acute insights into psychology and human nature were also able to guide us in the content of our communications: mood, tone, angle, all of the strategic wording and composition that helps to create effective, engaging, inspirational, and meaningful communications...under Autumn’s direction we developed a distinct and trustworthy voice that distilled the essence of our brand. Autumn also engaged great leadership skills in helping us to evolve more formally our nascent IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, & Access) initiative. We knew of Autumn’s interest in this area from her first interview with the organization. Her interpersonal skills were perfectly suited for helping us with staff discussions that can certainly be challenging...Supervision of two staff members was another aspect of Autumn’s work that she performed flawlessly. Collegiality and customer service come naturally to Autumn in ways that I, personally, have rarely witnessed. She had a way of making us all feel good to be working together and never left a member or donor hanging with any kind of need. Autumn was new to the non-profit world when she arrived, but as a life-long learner, she holds a skill set that enables her to take on and excel at new things with amazing speed and dexterity—a combination of fundamental human kindness, super-keen awareness of those around her, and hard-earned skills from a variety of career experiences. Autumn Sharp will make a wonderful addition to any team and organization lucky enough to bring her in."

  • "Autumn provided a significant boost to the management of multiple online communications streams during her time with Tucson Audubon. Her influence came in the form of thoughtful analytical detail, contributions to group decision-making and problem-solving, and dedication to improving our organization's inclusion of diverse audiences. Autumn frequently goes above and beyond her described role and managed several day-to-day processes and one major project that were outside of the scope of her communications and development responsibilities. The performance of two employees directly managed by Autumn improved during her time as Communications and Development Manager. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Autumn for a management role and feel confident her analytical skills, attention to detail, and inclusive mindset will benefit those who have the privilege to work with her in the future."

  • “Autumn generously donated her time for a one-off consulting meeting to me and the Director of Terralingua, publisher of Langscape Magazine. She kindly received my request and, to my surprise, was willing to share excellent insights and suggestions from her well of knowledge and experience. She has the kind of personality that is warm and open, and we felt at ease enough to share our questions and frustrations. It was clear to us that we were speaking with a professional who has a depth of people management skills. Every team needs at least one person like Autumn!”

  • "My time with Autumn FLEW by! We worked together in the Human Resources Department at Jefferson County Government and our time together was wonderful. Autumn brings significant, unique experience and perspective to any table she joins. She is creative and innovative both with her problem solving and with her communication. We serve a diverse population and Autumn can establish a genuine connection with people from any background. Autumn helped us initiate a massive, year-long stay interview project. Her research skills and exceptional attention detail made the project possible. Without her efforts, knowledge, and experience, we wouldn't be where we are today. Autumn is dedicated to her own personal growth and development, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Autumn is open, approachable, and easy to get along with. She communicates clearly and concisely, and provides her own expectations or clarifies the expectations of others if she is unclear. These traits enhanced our workplace communication, which also established Autumn as someone who is reliable, trustworthy, understanding, and a valued member of our team. She is thoughtful with her judgment and decision making, and provides logical, clear feedback. It has truly been a pleasure working with Autumn. I am going to miss working with her and wish her all of the best in her future endeavors! "

  • "When I think about Autumn Sharp and how she describes herself as self-managing, adaptable, an effective communicator, team player, her solid skills with process improvement, I say yes, yes, yes, and yes to each of those attributes and more. I say yes, to her positive attitude, and yes to her ability to smile even in the toughest of times. While Autumn worked with me as an intern it was a true joy to have her in the office and not only due to her joyful disposition but, she is good at what she does and produces quality work. She’s open to suggestions, and agile with her processes. We are still using some of her frameworks, today. Autumn is the type of person you want to have in your organization and on your team."
